Ahmad's Tailor Shop

Ahmad's Tailor Shop

Ahmed is a Syrian young man who came to Lebanon four years ago fleeing the war after being injured in the foot and having to use wheelchair.

Back in Syria, Ahmed was a tailor and a distinguished footballer, but all this changed after his injury. He came to Basmeh & Zeitooneh Center in Bar EliasBekaa in search of any hope of getting out of his isolation and recovering what he could from his previous life. He enrolled in the small grants project, completed management and accounting trainings and received a grant to open his own business.

Today, Ahmed is one of the most famous tailors in his area. He works at home and tries to help people who have suffered from war
