Our Programs

The Protection Department offers a range of services to the local community, with the aim of building the resilience of at-risk families and individuals. The department offers various kinds of support, including psychosocial support, awareness and empowerment sessions, along with referral services to external specialists. The psychosocial support sessions covers a number of broad issues, including the impacts of family pressures, tools for dealing with psychological pressures, constructive communication and stress relief. The awareness sessions, meanwhile, cover issues including women’s rights, non-violent communication and child protection. The Protection team has recently begun targeting men in the community, involving them in both the support and awareness sessions, in order to provide holistic support which takes into accounts all community needs. In addition to group sessions and case management, the protection department provides individual and familial counseling.
