Early marriage is a big problem in our Arab societies, especially the ones going through challenging circumstances
This film is made by a group of students from the fifth grade at the educational center as part of the leadership program of Basmeh and Zaitooneh in Shatila camp
They chose to name the film Tamatae, a Japanese expression that refers to the contrast between a person's true feelings and desires and the behavior and opinions one displays in public, to show the consequences of the pressure the community puts on the individual
The students worked on developing the film with the help of Haifa AL and Rami Ajib in filming and editing
